Lake life is so calm and relaxing. David and Laurie got up early and finished cleaning up from the party last night. I smartly waited until all the work was finished before I got up. It was a quiet, calm morning on the lake and Eric decided he wanted to wakeboard so we went for a boat ride. I love riding in the boat!!! Laurie drove the boat and David and I served as spotters. It looked very hard to me but Eric enjoyed his wakeboarding. When he was finished we just rode around the lake looking at the beautiful houses, etc. Eric then decided he wanted to try to ski on the "table top" apparatus that someone had skiied on in the ski show yesterday. Laurie drove us over to the dock and Eric got out the table top and attempted to ski a number of times. He managed to get up a couple of times but then the bottom of the table washed out. It looked way too hard and exhausting to me. He finally gave up and said he would try it another day. Eric told me later that Vanessa had tried skiing on the table top and managed to get up and ski her very first try!!!
We went back to the house and I lazed around a little before getting ready to go to Canton to see my favorite sister and my dear high school friends. When I was just about ready we had a surprise visit from my great niece Cheyenne, her husband, Zack, and their cute baby named Ellie Jo. I'm telling you Ellie Jo is the cutest, sweetest baby girl you will ever meet. Here are a few pictures:
David drove me to Canton, dropped me off at a restaurant to meet my friends and then he went to Anytime Fitness to work out. It is always SOOOO fun to get together with the "Lincoln Girls," and tonight was no exception. In addition to our normal group tonight, my sister, Jill, came along as did Rhoda's sister, Clara, who is friends with my sister. I love all of these pictures!
After dinner Jill took me to her house for a couple of days of "sister time!"
