I cannot keep track of the days! It's been hard to do since I retired but it's even harder now that we are homeless and traveling. I'm told it's Monday so I'll go with that. I know my blog is a little boring because we are staying in one place relaxing and getting ready to move on. Hopefully it will get better as we start our trip to Portland.
Today we decided to go through all of our belongings, again, to lighten our load. We found a few more things to leave here while we travel so we were successful. And I found a bag of Hershey's Kisses which was a bonus!
David and Johnny Ray went hiking again and I chose to stay home and read. I just feel the need for relaxation and alone time. This cabin is quiet and peaceful and homey and I love it here. It will be very hard to leave in the next day or two.
The guys had a good hike until the sky opened up and they got drenched! They were very happy to get back to the cabin and take a warm shower. For dinner I baked chicken and made a simple salad to go with it.
We had an early evening.
